As I'm sitting here trying to write a testimonial I am realizing I don't have the words to describe my experience at SFPA...
SFPA is where it all began - my passion, drive, excitement, dedication, courage and so on. Not just for acting but for life. My training at SFPA tough me to never give up and to dream BIG! These wonderful qualities have enabled me to accomplish much in my short 27 years.
SFPA beyond prepared me for my four years at Idyllwild Arts Academy where I received my high school diploma in Acting and later the Theatre School at DePaul University where I received my BFA in Acting. I now reside in Los Angeles, CA where I continue to act and own a wedding and event planning company Firefly Events.
SFPA is a magical place that offers amazing training! Thank you to everyone who I worked with there!!!!!

I used to have terrible stage fright, but I'd always wanted to be an actress. The terrific teachers, great learning environment, and wonderful students at SFPA gave me the confidence and determination to pursue my dream and overcome my fear. I have learned so much in my 6 years of being at SFPA, not only about acting, but about myself. I am currently an intern at Theaterwork in Santa Fe and in the Lensic Theater's technical theater program, have worked with various other theater companies around town, and am preparing to go off to college to study musical theater, all because of the skills and confidence I have gotten from SFPA. Going to SFPA is the best thing young, aspiring actors in Santa Fe can do to practice their craft and meet wonderful people who become your dear friends and mentors. This place is my home, and always will be.

I began performing with SFPA when I was 8 years old, and I believe it was the best turn of my life. This was my introduction to the stage, and to this day I look forward to rehearsal more than anything else. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful place to learn this craft and express myself.

Santa Fe Performing Arts has truly opened me to my passion for acting. I have enjoyed every production that I have been involved in, because of the fun environment and great learning experiences. Without I do not think I would be as confident or determined as I am now. I recommend this theatre company to any aspiring actor!

I started acting at SFPA when I was 11 years old. It's always been my passion, my love, and always the first home where I fell in love with my craft. Today, I take about three classes in the theatre at Santa Fe High School and I always work hard to be the best actor or "Techie" I can be. I applaud this great theatre for it's tradition and it's hard work. Today, I've taken a Technical Theatre Internship at the Lensic and I have designed 2 shows and acted in three shows at Santa Fe High School. I recently just got accepted into the University of New Mexico and I'm going to study Technical Theatre and Acting Techniques (I think). SFPA will always be my first home and I'm proud to be an alumni from such a beautfiul place. I have outstanding and forever friendships with many actors. Thank you SFPA for changing my life.

I started acting at Santa Fe Performing Arts when i was about five, i spent alot of my time there rehersing and having fun. I met many new friends and many of them are my friends to this day. I remember my very first play that i acted in was Charlie Brown, I was woodstock, i didnt do much but it was the excitment of being on stage. Every since then i have loved to be on stage no matter what i do, being at Santa Fe Perfoming Arts gave me confidence to do anything i wanted to do performing being the best of my abilities. I had to leave the school when i was twelve but i have seen the new shows and watched my friends on stage and i love every minute of every play! i love anything having to do with the arts! :), Santa Fe, NM
SFPA is a wonderful place to learn, grow, and practice theater arts. They are dedicated to quality education and artist development. It offers a nurturing and supportive atmosphere which allows actors, directors, and artists to work on maturing as artists. SFPA stands head and shoulders above any other school/classes/theater I have worked with. Santa Fe is very fortunate to have such a quality organization!
