Come join in the fun in this special new morning classes designed for 3 to 7 year olds and homeschoolers to explore acting and movement through classic fairy tale literature!

The Creation of a NEW PLAY WORKSHOP

After the success of building our first new play, UNIT 113 last semester, we are doing it again! Join us for this unique experience; where students get to develop a script based on their ideas, learn to write dialogue for the stage and design and construct the set, props and costumes. who knows what we'll come up with this time!?! But knowing the creative minds of Chimera and the staff of SFPA you can be sure it's going to be one-of-a-kind!

ADVANCED TEEN ACTING 

This class is designed for the serious high school theater student to work through scene study and monologues to deepen ones commitment to self and the craft of acting. Students will also be able to work on audition materials and techniques to prepare auditions for college/university entrance, getting an agent and film or theatre auditions.

 In addition to the City Different Player (7 to 12 year olds) and the Teen Ensemble performance classes Santa Fe Performing Arts offers a variety of non-performance classes including:

AUDITION TECHNIQUES / COLLEGE PREP

This class is specifically to help high school students interested in attending colleges and/or universities as a theatre major. AUDITION TECHNIQUES/COLLEGE PREP will guide students through the process of selecting and preparing audition materials, as well as, help students understand and complete college and university applications. This class is also available for private sessions.

SHOW BIZ 101

This class with limited enrollment is designed for the young actor aspiring to be a professional working actor. Knowledge of audition techniques, acting for the camera, resume building, head shots, union affiliation, managers and agents are a must for serious young actors. Master classes with working professional actors, agents and casting directors will be offered.
